ROYAL AIR FORCE POLICE ASSOCIATION
WESSEX BRANCH |
The Royal Air Force Police Association is a national organisation for all serving and ex members of the Royal Air Force Police and RAF Kennelmaids.
Numerous branches are established in various locations throughout the United Kingdom and the Wessex Branch primarily covers south Somerset, Dorset and east Devon.
Inaugurated in January 2012, the Wessex Branch meets in Dorchester, where we have an excellent meeting and luncheon room and plenty of free parking. Meeting on the third Tuesday of every other month (Jan, Mar, May, July etc.,) we normally meet at about 12 noon and go into lunch at about 12.30 pm. As our branch membership expands we will be inviting interesting speakers to our meetings and arranging visits out to places of interest to our members.
Eligibility for the ‘Member’ category is reserved for serving or ex members of the Royal Air Force Police or RAF Kennelmaids. Branch members must also be or become members of the national association.
Eligibility for the ‘Associate Member’ category includes members spouses/partners, serving or ex members of the Royal Military Police, Royal Navy Police or serving or ex members of a service police from an allied military force. (Associate Members cannot become part of the national association but are associates of the Branch).
Why not come and join us?
To join our branch, contact the Branch Secretary for an Application Form. Our annual subscriptions are minimal. If you are not already a member of the national association we can arrange that as well. Not sure? Why not visit as a guest? Whether joining or visiting as a guest, for catering purposes it is essential that you advise the Branch Secretary at least 48 hours before visiting.
